Our community in Cedar Park isn’t the only pet friendly environment in our area. Recently, the city has passed a bill for restaurant owners to apply for a permit to allow dogs and their owners to hang out together at their business. We’ve mapped out the best places to take your pooch for a great day out.
Best Dog Park
The highly rated Cedar Bark Park is a fenced off, five acre dog utopia that features a natural dog pond, pet waste stations, benches, drinking fountains and dog showers. In 2015, the park hosted “The Bark Festival” a fun filled celebration for K9’s. To all visiting dog owners, remember to be courteous and scoop up the poop. Please note that the park is closed for cleaning every Thursday from 7am-4pm.
Best Dog Friendly Bar
Calling all dog and brew enthusiast! Ever wanted to party with man’s best friend? The Dog House Drinkery & Dog Park is an experience you can’t miss. Get out, socialize, watch a game, play some darts and bring your pooch with you. The bar also offers two huge separate park areas for big and small dogs. The venue also hosts adoption events, training sessions, meet ups and hosts birthday parties and other dog related special events.
Dog Friendly Restaurant
Since 2011, Bellini’s Texas Grill has been serving a dose of Tuscan Texas fusion to the Cedar Park area. You’ll love the happy hour specials and your pup will love the outdoor dining patio. Did we mention that the restaurant mascot Bellini is dog himself? We suggest trying their tasty lunch specials, available Monday through Friday from 11AM to 4PM.
