With Halloween around the corner, you’re probably wondering where to go and what’s going down. Where are the best bars, best parties, and best frights? We’ve got your answers in our brand new blog, Halloween In Austin: Where To Go 2017.
Kicking off our blog on Halloween in Austin and where to go is the House of Torment: Haunted Houses – a 40,000 sq-ft locale that offers up a dark carnival of twisted terrors. There’s a freak show with clowns everywhere (and not the good ones) (hmm. ARE there any good ones?) along with a creepy manor, a haunted penitentiary and a terrifying carnival. Make sure to get there early to avoid lines or pick up a fast pass and skip the line! It’s running now through November 11th.
Next up on our blog on Halloween in Austin and where to go are the Haunted Halloween Trails over at Pioneer Farms. They’re held on Friday nights from 7-11pm, for three weekends only (the last 3 weeks of October) and it’s rain or shine (no refunds). They’re offering up three separate trails. The first is for kids, the second is filled with “spooky surprises” and is rated PG, and the third, rated PG-13, is for the less faint of heart. There’ll also be food trucks and live music on hand.
Rounding out our blog on Halloween in Austin and where to go is the Third Annual All Hallow Eve Festival Ball at the Belmont over at 305 W. 6th Street on Sat, Oct 28th. Dress up to the nines for a huge costume party that includes art displays, food, a fashion show, and music – from DJ’s to a live band. It’s 21 and over and promises many more spooky surprises.
There’s plenty of places around town to go get your boo on this year so have fun. These are just a few of the best places in Austin to spend your Halloween. Wherever you decide, have fun, stay safe and drink responsibly.
