Have you made your Fall plans yet? After all, it is around the corner and there’s SO much to do that you don’t even have to leave the area. So what are the best and most interesting things happening in Austin? Our new blog has all the answers so check it out: The Best Fall Events in Austin!
Kicking off our blog on the best Fall events in Austin is the Austin City Limits Music Festival, running from Oct 6-8 and Oct 13-15 at Zilker Park. Expect some huge names to perform – from Jay-Z to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, from the Killers to Gorillaz, from Chance the Rapper to the XX. There’ll be plenty of food and drink vendors on hand and if you get bored between sets, there’s so much of the park open for you to explore – including large-scale art instillations to a beer hall.
Next up on our blog on the best Fall events in Austin is the Pecan Street Festival running from Sept 23-Sept 24. No, it’s not a celebration of pecans; it’s an art festival (that’s free) where you can check out, peruse or even buy whatever you lay your eyes on! But not everyone’s there just for the art; the food and the music are also huge draws. Over 50 music acts will be performing across three stages and around 30 food vendors will be serving up all manner of deliciousness. It’s one of the longest-running arts/music festivals in the country!
Rounding out our blog on the best Fall events in Austin is the 8 day-long Austin Film Festival over at 1801 Salina Street, that offers up films, panels, chats, and parties from October 26-Nov 2. There’s so much to do here, so much to see, that you’ll be better off buying your tickets now. It kicks off on Wed Oct 25 with a Film & Food Fundraising Party (from 7pm-11pm)
And there you go; some of the best Fall events in Austin! Whatever you decide to do, have fun and drink responsibly.
